Benefits of drinking lime water in the morning
How do you start your morning?
I bet I can guess you’re straight to the kitchen for a cup of coffee. No judgements here I go to sleep looking forward to my cup of warm, delicious caffeine in the morning.
Even though I enjoy waking up to a cup of coffee I know there are better ways to start your day.
A few months ago I saw a post on Insta (@thenaturalist.way) suggesting we drink warm lime water in the morning instead reaching for a cup of coffee.
I decided to switch up my morning routine and start my day with a warm cup of lime juice water. I still have a coffee but I drink it after and try to delay it for as long as possible.
I noticed the benefits straight away and I now have lime juice every single morning.

- Aids with bloating and constipation 
- Naturally hydrates your body 
- The Vitamin C & antioxidants helps to fight infections and reduce inflammation 
- Lowers blood sugar 
How to make
- Cut a lime into quarters 
- Squeeze two quarters into a small cup 
- Pour two thirds cold water into the cup (do this before the hot water so you don’t burn the juice) 
- Top up with hot water 
- Drink and enjoy!
